The Opera Holland Park Chorus will make its debut at the Aldeburgh Festival on 20 June 2019 in Stravinsky’s Hogarthian fable, The Rake’s Progress. Conducted by Barbara Hannigan, the OHP Chorus joins the Ludwig Orchestra and a cast of singers from Hannigan’s Equilibrium Young Artists scheme.
For many years, Opera Holland Park have commissioned artists to create images that represent the season’s operas. This year’s images were designed by Ewelina Koszykowska, and we caught up with her recently to find out more about her background, her art, and the themes that can be found in the pieces she’s created for the 2019 Season.

On 13 June, at Opera Holland Park's Hope For Grenfell Memorial Gala, a choir of 200 children and adults from the community, alongside our own chorus, performed ‘Help Me Believe’ – a new piece commissioned by OHP with words and music by Will Todd and Gareth Malone.
