Support our Young Artists Scheme

Young Artists performance of La bohème, 2016

At Opera Holland Park we are unique in our commitment to developing talent through our Young Artists scheme.

Our Young Artists programme offers a unique opportunity to develop the talent of the future and we welcome Young Artists alumni in main stage productions year after year. We believe that offering emerging talent the same opportunities, support and access as professional performers is an integral part of their development as artists, benefiting them, OHP and the wider opera community.

Unlike any other youth training scheme, we give our artists four full weeks of their own rehearsals and a ticketed main stage performance. They are individually mentored and given guidance from the Head of Music, language coaches, main stage Directors, Conductors and Repetiteurs. For many young artists, this will be their first full working experience with a professional opera company.

Support emerging talent as a Young Artists Circle member from £500 per year.

Join as a founding Young Artists Circle member to help us support and nurture talent development at OHP. In return, you will be offered exclusive opportunities to get closer to the work of the Young Artists and follow their journey through to performing on the main stage at OHP.

Benefits include:

  • Two tickets for Young Artists production of Don Giovanni and pre-performance reception
  • Invitation for two to Young Artists meet and greet reception
  • Regular updates from the Young Artists themselves throughout the year
  • Acknowledgement of your support in the Season programme and OHP website
