Young Artists Announced for 2017

We’re happy to announce the details of our Young Artists performance of Don Giovanni on 22 June 2017.

Our Young Artists this year are a delightful mix of international and home-grown talent, with current students and alumni from the Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Interestingly, two of our Young Artists are former stewards at the theatre, so you may recognise them! After weeks of shadowing performers in the main-stage production, they will be performing onstage with BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, Ashley Riches, who will be performing the title role.

Don Giovanni – Young Artists Performance
22 June 2017, 7.15pm

Infatuation, comedy, suspense and a devious womaniser like no other; it can only be the infamous Don Giovanni. With Mozart’s dazzling scvore, seductive arias, comedic jolts and irresistible drama, the audience is torn between love and hate for this complicated character, who despite his faults, charms you with every note.
