Support our Inspire Project

Inspire logo whiteOpera Holland Park’s work extends well beyond the stage at Holland Park with year-round outreach and education projects. Since it was founded in 2008, the Inspire team have paired with numerous charities and worked extensively with schools, hospitals, care homes, and community centres. Our aim is to bring opera to people who would not normally have the opportunity to attend due to social, physical or financial limitations.

Audio-Described Touch Tour, 2016

Some of the many projects that the team undertake include:

    • Schools’ matinee of one of our leading productions.
    • Working with dementia units to access people’s memories through music and performance with our Playlist for Life project.
    • Touch tours and audio-described performances for the partially sighted.
    • Lunchtime recitals for the elderly.

Inspire Accessible Ticket Schemes

We are committed to keeping opera affordable.

Every year we give away 1,000 free seats for young people aged 7-19 and 500 for the over 60s.

In addition, 92 tickets from each performance are priced at just £18 across our performances.

All of this could not be achieved without the generous donations of our Inspire supporters. To find out more about supporting the Inspire fund, please contact the Development Team on development@operahollandpark.com. Alternatively you can donate online here.
