Following the postponement of our 2020 season, the Schools' Matinee was converted into a virtual experience. Twenty-five schools signed up for Opera Holland Park’s first Virtual Schools Matinee, held via a webinar, with a fifty minute online workshop in the morning.
The OHP Inspire team led the children in singing, dancing, drawing and creative writing, including storyboards, ahead of the screening of 2019’s Un ballo in maschera.
“The children absolutely loved it. They had so much fun, learned a lot and were buzzing afterwards” wrote one teacher.
OHP Inspire will be assisting the Triborough Hub with their summer schools for children at home, and continuing their weekly singing group with AgeUK.
