Free ticket scheme for older audiences

<Back to accessible ticket schemes

Since we launched our free ticket schemes in 2008 we are proud to have given over 10,000 people the opportunity to attend opera for free. As in previous years, we are delighted to offer nearly 300 free tickets across our 2017 Season to those over the age of 60. We encourage our audiences to apply as part of an organised community group, such as a day centre, retirement café, older persons’ forum or through a charity such as Age UK or Contact the Elderly. While we are still accepting applications from individuals, those who have applied as part of a community group will be given priority during the allocation process.

“Very good especially for people with a restricted pension. It’s very much appreciated!”
