Concerned only with hedonistic thrills and wooing his ‘conquests’, Don Giovanni’s philosophy is to live every day as if it were his last, caring little about the hearts he has broken or lives he has taken along the way. But as the victims of past relationships seek revenge, the unrepentant Don meets his demise in a terrifying act; the consequence of his wicked ways and one he thought would never come.

With Mozart’s dazzling score, seductive arias, comedic jolts and irresistible drama, the audience is torn between love and hate for this complicated character, who despite his faults, charms you with every note. His status as opera’s great anti-hero deservedly remains.
