Told through the lens of seven premieres in seven European cities, the Victoria and Albert’s new exhibition, Opera: Passion, Power and Politics, takes you on a journey through nearly 400 years, culminating in the international explosion of opera in the 20th and 21st centuries. All our Friends & Supporters are invited to join us for a viewing of this landmark exhibition, followed by a Cream Tea at The Rembrandt Hotel’s 1606 Lounge.

Join us for a special breakfast and private viewing of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s new exhibition, Opera: Passion, Power and Politics. Kate Bailey, the museum’s Senior Curator and Producer will provide an insight into the creation of this landmark exhibition. Told through the lens of seven premieres in seven European cities, this immersive exhibition takes you on a journey through nearly 400 years, culminating in the international explosion of opera in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Opera Holland Park has something of a history of such events and the 2017 Investec Opera Holland Park Gala Dinner at the sensational Draper’s Hall, will be the third the company has held at this venue.
